Welcome to FIDO of Natick

About FIDO

We are Fun, Informed Dog Owners (FIDO)—a grassroots, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) Massachusetts nonprofit dedicated t promoting healthy, joyful relationships between dogs and their owners.

Formed in 2013 by passionate Natick residents, our first goal was to plan, fund, and open the town's first off-leash dog park. After years of community advocacy, fundraising, and perseverance, this dream became reality in September 2020 when Eddie's Park opened at Middlesex Path and is now a cherished, prominent feature of our community where dogs play freely and owners connect.

As an all-volunteer organization, FIDO continues to support Eddie's Park through ongoing maintenance, educational events, and community outreach. We're proud to keep tails wagging without taxpayer funds!

Donations are greatly appreciated and fully tax-deductible. Every contribution helps with park upkeep and future dog-friendly initiatives!

Eddie’s Park

109 W Central St, Natick, MA 01760

Natick's first off-leash dog park at Middlesex Path, Eddie's Park is a fully fenced, community-loved space with separate areas for small and large dogs. Open daily from dawn to dusk, it features mulch surfacing, ample parking, and clear rules for safe, fun play.

Named in memory of young Eddie Kramer (who adored dogs) the park honors his spirit through donations from his family that helped make it possible. Built by all-volunteer FIDO of Natick Inc. with private funds (no taxpayer money), it opened in September 2020 after seven years of dedicated effort. Come play responsibly and enjoy! 🐾❤️
